Leak: iPhone 12 Might Not Come with EarPods In the Box

Kuo predicted previous year that in 2021 Apple would move towards an iPhone with no ports at all.

Since the removal of the headphone jack on the iPhone in 2016, the Lightning-connector-equipped EarPods has given new users the ability to either listen to music on the iPhone without switching to Bluetooth headphones, or use a Lightning-to-3.5 mm converter. Despite the pandemic and the decline in shipments in Q2 2020, Kuo as revised his sales forecast for the AirPods for the entire 2020 from 80-90 million units to around 93-94 million units. Now, a new report by Digitimes suggests that Apple AirPods Studio have gone into production, hinting that a launch may happen in the next few months.

It will also have to be seen how the Cupertino company's headphone catalog looks like between now and the end of the year, since if a new model (or several) lands, it can subtract demand from standard AirPods.

Target stores to be closed or rebranded as Kmart, Wesfarmers announces
By 1325 AEST, Wesfarmers shares were up 5 cents or 0.1 per cent at $38.93 amid a weak Australian market. For instance the ads often have a much older woman say 60 and over trying to sell business attire.

As audiophiles here at T3, though, we always looks to improve on a phone's base bundled-in earphone offering, and there is no doubting that the Apple AirPods Pro would be a flawless partner for the hot new iPhone handset.

Some Apple AirPods Pro situations now claim the earphones are set up in Vietnam, according to a Twitter user, numerous records on the MacRumors forums, and also one Verge staffer that lately bought a set, suggesting the firm might be decreasing its dependence on Chinese manufacturing (via MacRumors). And the question would be to find out a way to encourage (or force) iPhone owners to buy a pair of AirPods.

Unfortunately, though, it seems like a delay in launch isn't the only thing Apple fans looking to upgrade to the new iPhone need to consider, as it has just been confirmed by respected Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that the iPhone 12 range is looking like it isn't going to deliver something out of the box. Therefore, Apple must provide another incentive so that users are happy to buy an additional product. It is also mentioned that no new AirPods are likely to come before next year so the discounts would be available on the current AirPods Pro and the regular AirPods.
