Man sought in connection to disappearance of OH teen

Bell reportedly went missing on the morning of Sunday, May 17 after she left her home to go tanning.

When Madison, known to her family and friends as 'Maddie, ' did not return home from the tanning salon after about an hour, her mother started texting and calling her, but received no response.

Madison Bell, of Greenfield, vanished Sunday after telling her mother she was going to a tanning salon that had reopened after easing statewide coronavirus lockdown measures.

"Just please, if you have my child out there, please let her go", Melissa said Friday.

Madison's family released a statement saying: 'We ask that the public and media respect our privacy during this hard time while we are emotionally raw'.

Her mother found her vehicle, with her keys and cellphone inside, at a nearby church.

'The windows are up, we open the door, her phone is laying in it, her keys in the ignition, the change is in the container she had.

No more information regarding the leads was given and authorities said they would provide an update as soon as possible.

According to a Facebook page 'Madison Bell Search, ' Rescue 101 SAR & Texas Equisearch is looking for volunteers to help search for Bell this weekend on foot and by ATV.

A large-scale search for the high school senior will be held Saturday.

According to WLWT, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has also joined the search. Thank you to everyone who donated on Maddie's behalf to assure we had reward money to offer for her safe return. Those interested in helping in the search are asked to meet at 12646 Centerfield Road in Greenfield, Ohio. Searchers must be over the age of 18 and must present a valid ID.

Requested items include: Gatorade, bread, peanut butter, jelly, cheese sticks, small packs of personal wipes, granola bars, nuts, individual bags of chips, Slim Jims, bug spray, sun block, gallon and sandwich baggies, small trash bags and plastic gloves.

According to a missing person report, Madison Noel Bell is Caucasian, stands 5-7 and weighs around 125 pounds. "She left and I haven't heard from her since". She has gray contact lenses, a cross tattoo on her neck and a ghost tattoo on her side. Bell also has tape-in hair extensions and a left nostril piercing.
