At the moment, the Terrace is only launching in the US and Canada, with a rollout to other select markets to begin later this year. And for businesses, a professional model will be launching this summer.

While Samsung did not put up the 55-inch model on its online store, the 65- and 75-inch models come it at US$4999.99 (~RM21810) and US$6499.99 (~RM28353), respectively. Samsung says that their outdoor TV has been created to withstand outdoor weather conditions, with an IP55 water and dust resistance rating, along with an easy way to install the TV outdoors.

Samsung Electronics Visual Display Business president Jonghee Lee said the Terrace TV was developed to adapt to new user lifestyle habits. 'With the introduction of The Terrace, we are thrilled to transcend the connected living room experience to the outdoors by delivering on engineering feats and content experiences that only Samsung can achieve'.

The Terrace offers a crystal-clear display with a brightness level of 2,000 nits, to increase visibility in all sorts of outdoor conditions, especially in bright daylight.

Samsung Terrace TV is a 4K QLED outdoor TV complete with a rain-proof soundbar

Its QLED 4K display is flawless for sports fans: with a high motion rate of MR240.

The display is coated with anti-reflection and adaptive picture technology which optimizes content by analyzing its surroundings to minimize unwanted glare, Samsung said.

The new Terrace is part of Samsung's growing "lifestyle" family of TVs, which includes the Frame, the Sero and the Serif. There's an optional Terrace Soundbar that offers dynamic sound, and it supports Bixby, Alexa, and soon, it will work with Google Assistant. The Terrace Soundbar also has an 1P55 durability rating. Like the TVs, the soundbar is also water and dust resistant and has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth so it can be paired with any of your devices. Samsung is also announcing the Terrace Soundbar with distortion canceling technology and an IP55 weather-resistance rating. The Terrace ships on June 5, while the Terrace Soundbar has a June 12 shipping date. But what separates the company's latest TV from the rest of its lifestyle pack is its weatherproofing features. To make up for this, Samsung in collaboration with Sky Ticket is treating 2020 QLED TV buyers and soccer fans with up to 12 months of access to the extensive Samsung Collection and Bundesliga matches that can be streamed from their comfort of their homes, free of charge. The 55-inch model will cost $3,455, the 65-inch edition is $4,999 and the 75-inch set $6,499.
