Funnily enough, Brady and his partner Phil Mickelson almost went on to lose the hole on an eagle putt from Tiger Woods, but the ball narrowly lipped out and the group split the hole instead.

The Match: Champions for Charity is now underway at Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida and can be seen on TNT, TBS, truTV and HLN. Woods and Manning wound up winning one-up.

And that's when Brady pulled off the unthinkable, holing out his fourth shot on the par-5.

Still, the whole thing was a surreal moment, and even managed to spur a $100,000 donation to charity from Brooks Koepka after the pro challenged Brady to make just one par.

There's no disputing that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is a victor.

Before the event, Woods and Mickelson, rivals for over 20 years, took turns to take thinly veiled shots at each other.

"Tiger thinks he has a huge advantage playing there because he was insistent that this event is played on his home course". That's fine. We'll take it to him and Peyton. "They wanted to know, if I wanted to wear black and red like Tiger". "There was so much torque in that swing".

"So we'll just be 8-up through nine - something like that".
