"Sour Candy" is the third track to arrive off the Grammy-winning artist's new LP, Chromatica, dropping at midnight (May 29).

Lady Gaga and Blackpink's highly-anticipated new song "Sour Candy" is here!

The opening kicks off nearly immediately with the recurring, sample-heavy chorus, which is sung by Blackpink members Lisa and Jennie. I was impressed when I heard their singing voice.

"I'm sour candy, so sweet then I get a little angry", Blackpink members Jennie and Lisa rap in English on the opening verse.

When asked about the collaboration, Gaga had the following to say: "I called out to them and asked if they wanted to sing a song with me, they were happy and motivated".

6 local vaccine candidates identified, 30 groups on job
Of the over 100 vaccine candidates around the world against the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID19), about eight are from India. But scientists have never created a vaccine so quickly, and there's no guarantee any under development will ultimately work.

"They're attractive young women, really talented, and I'm proud to be the fifth member of Blackpink (on this song)". "I wanted to celebrate them because they love powerful women like us, and they also wanted to celebrate me, and we had a great time together with this song".

Blackpink performs at Sahara Tent during the 2019 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 19, 2019 in Indio, Calif.

Her first studio album since the classic-rock-inspired "Joanne" in 2016, "Chromatica" follows Lady Gaga's Oscar-nominated acting turn in director Bradley Cooper's 2018 remake of "A Star Is Born", in which she played the showbiz-ingénue role previously portrayed by Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland.

"I might be messed up but I know what's up / You want a real taste, at least I'm not a fake / Come, come, unwrap me".
