J.R. Smith beats up auto window-breaker in Los Angeles riot

Smith, 34, later confirmed he did assault the man, saying he chased the alleged vandal down after seeing him shatter his truck window.

"One of these little motherfucking white boys didn't know where he was going and broke my fucking window in my truck", Smith said in a video on TMZ. The video shows Smith accosting the looter and proceeding to beat him up, including kicking and punching him several times. This ain't no hate crime, I ain't got no problem with nobody who ain't got no problem with me.

Of the more than 2,500 arrests over the weekend related to protests in two dozen USA cities, almost a fifth were in Los Angeles, according to a tally by The Washington Post. He broke my window.

The altercation comes one day after Smith was seen riding bicycles in L.A. with LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Jordan Clarkson and sports agent Rich Paul. He has a 12.5 scoring average in 15 seasons with the then-New Orleans Hornets, Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers.
