U.S. President Donald Trump told President Vladimir Putin in a phone call about his idea of holding an expanded Group of Seven summit later this year with a possible invitation for Russian Federation, the Kremlin said on Monday.

"It has been stated that the multilateral agreement reached with active support of US and Russian presidents has been leading to a gradual recovery of oil demand and price stabilization", the Kremlin said in a statement Monday about the call.

Trump said Saturday he will postpone until the fall a meeting of the G7 leading industrialized nations that he had planned to hold next month, and plans to invite Russia, Australia, South Korea and India.

The G7 members are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Trudeau noted Russian Federation was excluded from the group after it annexed the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine in 2014.

The video shows Smith accosting the looter and proceeding to beat him up, including kicking and punching him several times. It's a problem with the motherf***ing system. "He didn't know who window he broke, and he got his a- whooped".

"Russia was excluded from the G-7 after it invaded Crimea a number of years ago", Mr. Trudeau said during a news conference, "and its continued disrespect and flaunting of worldwide rules and norms is why it remains outside of the G-7, and it will continue to remain out".

Russian Federation was thrown out of what was then the G8 in 2014 after it seized Ukraine's Black Sea peninsula of Crimea, an annexation never recognised by the worldwide community.

In the aftermath of Trump's comments, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow is still waiting to receive information of any invitation to the upcoming G7 summit.

"It was stated that this multilateral agreement, reached with the active support of the presidents of Russian Federation and the United States, would lead to a gradual restoration of oil demand and price stabilization", it said.

The Kremlin said that Putin and Trump spoke of the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in space and also talked about the need to intensify a U.S.
