We will declare Antifa as a terrorist organization

The group made their presence known first during the protests around the United States in recent years, which also includes the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017.

The members of this group campaign against any actions which they view as authoritarian, homophobic, racist or xenophobic.

On Friday, Twitter accused some of Trump's tweets of violating the glorification of violence policy by calling the protesters in response to George Floyd's death "thugs" and appearing to threaten military intervention over the demonstrations that had turned violent.

Attorney General William Barr says "far-left extremist groups" are to blame for recent violence in Minneapolis and other cities during protests following George Floyd's death.

But it's unclear how big its involvement is.

Bray said that although he believes people associated with antifa are participating in the demonstrations, it is hard to determine how big of a role they're playing since there is no membership uniform or calling card and since the movement lacks the numbers to mobilise nationwide in such a dramatic, forceful way.

The issue Trump and his law enforcement cohorts face is how to corral adherents of a decentralised movement with no known leaders, no headquarters, and no clear ideology other than opposition to whatever its adherents see as right-wing, or fascist, movements.

The FBI, he said, was pursuing "a number of what we would call anarchist extremist investigations, where we have properly predicated subjects [people] who are motivated to commit violent criminal activity on kind of an Antifa ideology".

The US will designate anti-fascist group Antifa as a terrorist organisation, President Donald Trump said yesterday.

It's not the first time he's endorsed that approach.

Rose City Antifa, one of the first U.S. groups who have a huge social media following, claimed it was founded in 2007 in Portland, Oregon. Currently, the State Department has the power to classify only foreign organizations as terror groups.

But "there is not a domestic equivalent", said Joshua Geltzer, a former senior counterterrorism official in the Obama White House and founding executive director at the Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection at the Georgetown University Law Centre. But as white nationalism, racism and anti-semitism becoming growing domestic threats in America, members of ANTIFA say that their escalation tactics are necessary in order to draw the depravity out of the shadows and expose the hate-fueled actors now helming those movements. Any such designation means that this would raise significant due process and First Amendment concerns.

But defining an act of terrorism is different than designating an entire group as a terror organisation.

Rob Gronkowski no longer with WWE
During his 10-week run with WWE, Rob Gronkowski didn't compete in any official matches, and instead just cut promos. Once Gronkowski turned his back on Truth, he took it upon himself to roll him up and pin him to win the title.
