The highly-anticipated Sony WH-1000XM4 over-the-ear headphones haven't officially been announced, but we know everything about the new cans thanks to a leak from a retailer.

According to a recent report from TheWalkmanBlog, the upcoming Sony WH-1000XM4 has been listed on Walmart's website at a price of $348.

Starting at $US350 ($505), the WH-1000XM4 costs the same as the WH-1000XM3 and is expected to feature similar if not slightly improved active noise cancellation with the addition of extra on-board mics.

Sony's new wireless noise-cancelling headphones look set to be unveiled later this year and we now have an idea of the bells and whistles that you'll get as part of their new headphone package. The listing also reveals the headphones will use 40mm drivers and will support high-resolution audio. The technology uses artificial intelligence to restore the high-range sound lost in compression, which Sony says allows for a richer, more complete listening experience.

All-day power with quick charging The WH-1000XM4 headphones are made to last all day and then some, whether you're focused on your work or flying around the globe.

Also returning from the XM3s are the touch panel controls that allow you to change tracks volume and play/pause tracks via a system of swipes and taps. According to the listing, it's called "Precise Voice Pickup Technology". The XM4's will offer multipoint connections, meaning they can be paired with two Bluetooth devices at one time.

Walmart prematurely confirms the price tag and features of Sony's next big headphones

Finally, Adaptive Sound Control is a feature that's already available on the WH-100XM3s.

A while back, news broke out that Sony is ready to add a new “Smart Talking” feature to the XM4s which will trigger an ambient sound mode once it detects the user is trying to speak to someone and automatically adjust the music and noise cancellation after the conversation is over.

Wearing comfort WH-1000XM4 headphones blend sophisticated styling with exceptional comfort.

As for the battery life, it appears that that particular segment remains unchanged too; like the WH-1000XM3, the WH-1000XM4 will reportedly have the same 30-hour battery life, which isn't actually a bad thing.

Of course, Sony itself has yet to make any official announcement about the WH-1000XM4.

The WH-1000XM4 looks exactly what people want in a successor to Sony's current flagship ANC headphones.

Trump orders 9,500 United States troops to leave Germany
The official said the United States started working on the plan last September and had just now got the pieces in place. According to The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post, the decision would cap U.S. troops in Germany to 25,000.
