Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 appears in new render

It is being predicted that the tech giant may launch Galaxy Watch 3 at an event for the Galaxy Note20 series and the Galaxy Fold 2 on 5 August.

This comes from a new report supposedly based on info from industry sources. On top of that, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will also join the fray. It claims that Samsung is planning to launch one of these phones each month from August, starting with the Note 20, then launching the Fold 2 in September and finally revealing the S20 Fan Edition in October.

Between all this, Samsung will be also shipping the Galaxy Z Flip 5G but details regarding its exact shipping period is unknown except for the fact that it is being mass manufactured.

Either way, there's still no official confirmation on the releasing dates for each phone mentioned, so do take this with a pinch of salt. However checking different translations of the article has us reasonably confident that these are interpretation errors, and the report is consistently calling the phone the Fan Edition. Compared to the OG Galaxy Watch, this handy hardware method of navigating the UI is far less conspicuous, reportedly allowing the plus-sized 45mm version to squeeze a large (and obviously circular) 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display into a remarkably compact chassis with 45 x 46.2 x 11.1 mm measurements.

We have not yet seen renders of the smaller 41mm version yet, but I'm sure that will drop here shortly with a similar design.

The first half of 2020 did not go as planned for most companies, including Samsung whose Galaxy S20 series is leading up to be the worst-performing phones in the Galaxy S series.

The precautions starkly contrast to the Republican National Convention, which is set for August 24-27 in Jacksonville, Florida. In Wisconsin, there are now over 25,000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, and the death toll stands at 745.
