Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo has equalled an incredible record that's stood for 95 years that neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor Zlatan Ibrahimovic were able to achieve.

The retired Nigeria forward continues his United fairy tale after joining the club he supported growing up on deadline day in January.

Ighalo, 31, recently extended his loan deal with the Red Devils until 2021 after the initial agreement was set for him to return to China in May.

Captain Harry Maguire fired Manchester United into the semi-finals of the FA Cup with a victor deep into extra-time against ten-man Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday.

The goal ensured that Ighalo has found the back of the net in all of his four starts for the club, becoming the first player to do so since James Hanson in 1925, as Opta Sports pointed out.

On his third start for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, against LASK in the Europa League, he scored and contributed an assist, before opening the scoring against Norwich on Saturday.

United have been drawn against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals, while Arsenal and Manchester City will meet each other for the second spot in the final.

Ighalo scored the goal in the first five minutes of the match when he jabbed the ball over Tim Krul in goal for Norwich, his fifth in four games for the club, leaving Solskjaer proud of the former Watford man.

Solskjaer described Ighalo as "a goalscorer and a poacher" who is strong on the ball. "Anthony Martial came on and did brilliant, but Odion gives me a chance to rotate". Have your say in the comments section below.
