The OnePlus Nord Could Be OnePlus’ Big Return to Affordability

It looks as if there will be a gentle split in OnePlus' strategy between its high-end flagships and these more modest Nord devices. "As its name suggests, the OnePlus Nord has been influenced by Scandinavian design, with OnePlus aiming to deliver a device that generates ".a fast, smooth and effortless user experience". Originally rumored to be called the OnePlus Z (the letter "X" was already used in 2015 for another low-cost OnePlus handset), the Nord name was discovered in a trademark application made by the company in March. After all, we don't have an official launch date for smartphones making this a blind order for most customers. More information will be announced by the company at a July 10th unveiling in India.

Unfortunately, there's still no word from the Instagram page on which regions will be eligible for the pre-order. But with the new OnePlus Nord, it appears OnePlus is looking to return to its roots by making a truly affordable phone with big specs for the money. There's no point for the company to ignore its domestic market.

Coronavirus: US officials warn 'this is just the beginning'
He warned community spread is more hard to contain than spread in single location like a prison or nursing home. SC also has emerged as a hot spot, reporting a record single-day increase of 1,755 cases on Tuesday.

It's not the OnePlus 8 Lite or the OnePlus Z, but Nord, as had also been rumored previously.

Earlier this month a phone said to be the OnePlus Nord went through the Geekbench benchmark test and practically confirmed that the Snapdragon 765/G will be the chipset running the show. Other than that, it will also come with a dual front-facing camera setup that includes a 32MP and 8MP sensors. However, this is more than some outlets thought OnePlus would charge for the device. The display will refresh at 90Hz which updates the screen 90 times per second.
