Confirmed: ASUS ROG Phone 3 launching July 22 - revü

The publication mentions that ROG Phone 3 will be launched as a part of this online event. Now, the company has confirmed that the event will be held on July 22 at 11PM Taipei time (8:30 pm IST) and broadcast live on the Asus website. This may be the ROG Phone 3 which was previously showcased in an official poster image that the phone will launch in the month of July.

The launch event will take place in the three countries - Taiwan, Italy, and NY. We also know that Asus ROG Phone 3 will boast a massive 6.6-inch display and that it will be initially launched in China. The image shows a smartphone that looks largely similar to its predecessor, but the specs in the TENAA listing indicates that it's far more powerful than the previous model.

The phone expected to get power from the Snapdragon 865+ chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM. In terms of software, the device is likely to run on the ROG UI based Android 10 OS.

ASUS has made what could be considered the most impressive gaming phones out there over the past two years.

Gaming phones need a lot of RAM to take on intensive games. The handset might also come in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage configurations. The refresh rate is unknown at the moment, but it is expected to feature 120Hz refresh rate at the minimum. That's the same date of the ROG Phone 2's announcement previous year.
