The win lifted Manchester United up into fourth place in the Premier League table ahead of Chelsea FC's clash with Watford later on Saturday.

However, former United man Djemba-Djemba believes neither Fernandes or Pogba would have gotten into Sir Alex Ferguson's starting XI when it was Scholes and Keane holding down the fort.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows he has a special player on his hands and has tried to do his best to protect Greenwood but the player's form has made him undroppable.

United had kept 11 clean sheets in their previous 15 matches without defeat, but defensive lapses were the only blight on another satisfying afternoon for Solskjaer.

However, Bournemouth took a shock lead through Junior Stanislas who nutmegged the onrushing defender before slotting past David De Gea.

Those errors were not as costly this time as the blossoming front three of Greenwood, Martial and Rashford quickly turned the game around.

McCloskey cited the vandalism and looting of stores during recent protests across the country as a reason he was so frightful. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson has now apologized for revealing the names and addresses of citizens who called to defund the police.

Martial completed the set with a stunning strike from outside the box to reach 20 goals in a season for the first time in his career.

Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes both start for Manchester United against Bournemouth.

Eric Bailly replaced Victor Lindelof at half-time and the Ivorian handled as he tried to control a loose pass from Nemanja Matic. A breathless contest had its seventh - and final - finish when Bruno Fernandes beat Ramsdale to the goalkeeper's left with a fine free-kick.

Bournemouth, who have now lost 17 of their last 22 league games, stayed 19th on 27 points and face a mountain to climb if they are to avoid relegation from the top flight.

Having once appeared to be in danger of missing out on a top-four finish once again, United are now very much back in the hunt for Champions League qualification.

And Fernandes looks to be getting the best out of Pogba, who remains United's record signing and is regarded by many as one of world football's most naturally gifted stars.
