Apple Supplier Foxconn Will Hire 6000 Staff, Invest Rs 7500 Crore

Both sources said that Foxconn manufactures some of Apple's iPhone models in China, some of which will be manufactured at an Indian plant.

Foxconn has two plants in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh where it assembles Apple and Xiaomi smartphones while employing thousands of workers. Foxconn chairman Liu Young-way last month hinted that the company would ramp up its investment in India.
