David Beckham's son Brooklyn Beckham is engaged to his girlfriend Nicola Peltz after seven months of dating.

Brooklyn Beckham, son of David Beckham, has confirmed he's engaged to marry his "soul mate" Nicola Peltz.

Brooklyn commented on the picture, writing: "My girl forever xxx I love you more than anything", followed by three red heart emojis. "We all love you both so much x @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven", the former Spice Girls member wrote in her caption.

The fashion designer posted her own congratulations, telling them: "The MOST exciting news!"

For Brooklyn's birthday in March, Nicola took to social media to post a series of photos of her beau. I am the luckiest man in the world, I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. Wishing you much love and a lifetime of happiness. Your love is the most precious gift.

He wrote: "Congratulations to these two attractive people".

She reportedly rented a boat and her four-year-old son, Josey Hollis Dorsey , was found hours later floating in the boat alone. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has also become involved in the search.

"We could not be happier", she said.

Peltz, 25, is an American actor who hails from a wealthy family - her father Nelson is a billionaire and he and Nicola's mother Claudia are estimated to be worth £1.34 billion (NZ$2.57 billion).

It appears the image was taken recently following the couple's return to the Cotswolds, after isolating together in NY.

Brooklyn, 21, and Nicola, 25 - who started dating at the end of a year ago - will have one ceremony in the United Kingdom and the other in Florida.

"[Brooklyn] and Nicola are closer than ever and they are both excited to take their relationship to the next level by sharing the same home", the source said.

"A few of his friends have teased him about it but Brooklyn is adamant that there is nothing "Oedipal" about it", a source told The Sun in October past year. We bet when you saw the picture, the blingy engagement ring certainly caught your eye.
