A 22-year-old woman, who is a sister of one of the pair, has also tested positive in Queensland's first case of community transmission since May.

Police said all three women were in quarantine and were due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 28.

"Today's cases have done the right thing and remained in quarantine or self-isolation after coming back into Queensland".

It is understood police and health authorities are using mobile phone data to ensure they get the full picture of the women's movements since their return to Queensland. The other two cases recently returned from NSW and were not in a declared hotspot at the time.

The vision shows the pair following all COVID-19 protocols, from registering their personal details online on entry, to washing their hands before sitting down at their table.

"Unfortunately the second confirmed case has not wanted to let us know where she has been", Dr Young said.

While both sides are in engaged in the fifth round of military talks, India has said the disengagement process is yet to be completed.

Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll said additional police resources have been put in place to help manage traffic at the border.

Three women who sparked a coronavirus scare when they flew from Melbourne to Brisbane "went to extraordinary lengths to be deceitful deceptive and quite frankly criminal", Queensland police say.

The woman - who works at Parklands Christian College at Park Ridge in Brisbane's south - was diagnosed with the virus on Tuesday. There are now eleven active cases in Queensland, with five of them in hospital.

Queensland's deputy commissioner of police, Steve Gollschewski, said police were confident they had identified everyone who attended the Melbourne gathering.

"Imagine if you have something like that, you don't have any support and people treat you like a serious criminal", she said.

The school issued a warning to staff and students on Wednesday.
