Maxwell's lawyers have long fought to keep the documents under seal, claiming they could harm the reputations of high-profile people. This contradicted statements made by Maxwell's attorneys, who said she had not been in touch with Epstein for over 10 years in attempt to make bail.

That's despite a photo of himself, Maxwell and Roberts on the night she claims they had sex at the urging of Maxwell.

US District Judge Loretta Preska had ordered them released, but ms Maxwell's lawyers appealed her ruling to the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals. The convicted sex offender and pedophile was arrested a month prior on federal sex trafficking charges.

Giuffre has recounted how she had a job at 16 handing out towels in a spa locker room at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida before Maxwell lured her to work as a masseuse for Epstein, when he began sexually assaulting her.

She said the women "still maintain a significant privacy interest that must be safeguarded".

The emails were among dozens of documents unsealed late Thursday relating to a defamation lawsuit filed by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre against Maxwell in 2015.

Prosecutors accuse the 58-year-old of recruiting and grooming girls as young as 14 to be abused by Epstein and farmed out to some of his wealthy associates.

One email, sent from Epstein's email address but written in Maxwell's voice, appeared to be a draft statement or set of talking points for Maxwell to use in defending herself. She's the one who abused me on a regular basis.

The iPhone is still, by far, Apple's biggest business, and it now represents 44 percent of its total revenues. Apple CEO Tim Cook described the product's arrival as a "strong launch".

Two of Epstein's victims, known as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2, claim Epstein depended on high-profile friends like Prince Andrew to secure a favourable sentence from the United States attorney in South Florida in 2008.

Former president Bill Clinton traveled with Jeffrey Epstein to his private island and stayed there with "two young girls" from NY, according to a recently-unsealed interview of prominent Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

"I have never been a party in any criminal action pertaining to JE", Epstein suggests to Maxwell in an email included in a batch of unredacted court documents that were released late Thursday.

In the newly released documents, Roberts lashes out at what she claims was Andrew's involvement in the financier's activities.

"She's the one that procured me, told me what to do, trained me as a sex slave, abused me physically, abused me mentally", the deposition reads.

Two documents that were not released as scheduled Thursday were depositions Maxwell gave in the civil lawsuit in 2016.

Much of what appears in the documents unsealed late Thursday in NY has previously been reported, including Giuffre's claim that Epstein and Maxwell turned her into a "sex slave" and trafficked her to a long line of wealthy and powerful men.

Her lawyers said they should be blocked because she now faces criminal charges.
