It also packs the most powerful naturally aspirated V12 engine to ever come from the Italian supercar builder. The new generation of carbon fiber chassis is the key reason behind achieving such high power to weight ratios. It's developed by racing arm Squadra Corse and designed by in-house styling centre Centro Stile. And the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 makes a speech courtesy its striking design. Not just because it comes with the marque's most potent V12 engine yet, but because it is a GT track vehicle built around an all-carbonfibre chassis conforming to FIA prototype safety regs.

The Essenza SCV12 uses a new Xtrac sequential six-speed gearbox, positioned within the chassis. "The result is an engaging and uncompromising auto, born to race and to showcase on the track the characteristics that have made Lamborghini famous worldwide, guaranteeing unique and special emotions for both the driver and onlookers". The styling of this jaw-dropping hypercar sees two massive air-intakes on the front of the bonnet along with the roof scoop that channels additional cool air to the engine's intakes at higher speeds and help generate more power. It's rear-wheel drive (not four, like Lamborghini's V12 road cars), and Brembo brakes will do their utmost to prevent any misfortune, while its 19in front and 20in rear magnesium wheels just look superb, Top Gear reported.

Rest assured it's all totally bespoke, though, with inspiration drawn from Lambo's back catalogue of track cars, including the Miura Jota and Diablo GTR, and that side silhouette inspired by prototypes of the seventies.

For aerodynamics, Lamborghini Squadra Corse's GT racing experience managed to squeeze out 1,200 kg of downforce at 250 km/h - higher than a GT3 auto.

The track car's lightweight bodyshell is divided into three separate components to allow for quick replacement of damaged sections during pit stops and the overall shape is said to be inspired by 1970s prototypes. The exclusive Verde Silvans, Grigio Lynx, Nero Aldebaran Gloss and Arancio California launch livery displays the trademark logos of long-standing Lamborghini Squadra Corse partners Pertamina, Pirelli and Roger Dubuis.

Man City have £41m bid for Nathan Ake accepted by relegated Bournemouth
The Netherlands worldwide has gone on to make 146 Premier League appearances, scoring 12 goals and keeping 30 clean sheets. City are also involved in advanced negotiations with Valencia for the signing of 20-year-old winger Ferran Torres.

Making the deal even sweeter is the fact that purchasing one of these 40 Essenza SCV12s also confers access to a series of exclusive track events along with storage space in a new building (a hangar, Lamborghini says) that the company has built at its facility in Sant'Agata Bolognese.

The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 has been unveiled in Italy, with the special hypercar designed purely as a machine for the track.

The Lab offers athletic training programs similar to those followed by the official Lamborghini racing drivers.

Assistance will be provided by the Squadra Corse technical staff with the support of Emanuele Pirro, five-time victor of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and an excellent tutor for the customer-drivers; and Marco Mapelli, Lamborghini Squadra Corse Factory Driver.

The Essenza SCV12 puts all 830 horsepower to the ground via the rear wheels. There are a few more buttons, but why would anybody need anything more on a track-oriented hypercar?
