Marshall County Reports 22nd COVID-19-Related Death

Collin County has confirmed the death of a 71-year-old Plano man.

McLean County health officials announced nine new coronavirus cases on Friday as the county closes out a month in which its COVID-19 caseload almost doubled. Adjusted numbers from the county list 27 total hospitalizations and one death of a county resident.

The state as a whole has now had 66,154 positive cases.

Positive case No. 139 is a symptomatic male in his 60s with unknown exposure and is recovering at home.

The spike in cases for Effingham County comes amid a statewide rise in infections.

As of 12:00 AM June 1, 2020, the Department of State Health Services will perform all COVID-19 case investigation and contact tracing activities for Collin County's local health authority. In front are Polk with 9,355; Woodbury, 3,608; Black Hawk, 2,927; Linn, 1,947; Johnson, 1,842; Buena Vista, 1,781; Dallas, 1,721; Scott, 1,536; and Dubuque, with 1,438.
