More than five million New South Wales residents can no longer enter Queensland after the state closed its border to travellers from Greater Sydney.

Police said in a statement the woman allegedly lied on her Queensland Border Declaration, which are "consistently" reviewed by the Queensland Police Service.

Earlier, Queensland Health Minister Steven Miles ruled out the return of Government-funded hotel quarantine but conceded the cost of quarantine could deter travellers from admitting their actual movements.

He was infectious on the flight and health authorities are tracing people who sat near him, Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young said on Sunday.

A third woman is under police investigation after returning to Queensland from Victoria and failing to declare her whereabouts.

"Those people will be charged for breaching the COVID travel restrictions, and it should send a message to everyone ... that police are checking vehicles and they will be caught".

It comes as 105 COVID-19 tests were done at an aged care facility in Brisbane overnight.

Part of their investigation will be into how their flights were booked from Melbourne to Brisbane, with a short layover at Sydney airport, and whether they used fake names and contact details on their border declaration passes.

She is now dealing with authorities to figure out all the places she has actually been to while transmittable. Authorities are also examining whether the girls visited the Free Pentecostal Church of Australia in Springfield. There is also a number of close contacts in both of their households.

He said waiting times for tests in Metro South were also shortened.

The man and his family are now in self-isolation, with residents who visited the 15 locations urged to monitor their health and get tested if they display coronavirus symptoms.

"I'm absolutely furious this has happened, that these two people have gone to Victoria, have come back and have given misleading information to authorities".
