In the U.K., Swift is also the first and only female artist in the 21st century to score five No. 1 studio albums.

With the super success of Taylor Swift's album "Folklore", she keeps herself busy by being with her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.

And Taylor dominated the Singles Chart too, with three of her album's tracks making it into the top 10 - "cardigan" at number six, her Bon Iver collaboration "exile" at number eight, and "the 1" at number 10.

"My gut is telling me that if you make something you love, you should just put it out into the world", said Swift when announcing the album.

What's even more impressive, it is the biggest album debut by an artist since Taylor Swift last released her award-winning album, Lover, just 11 months ago!

Hamilton takes pole position for British GP ahead of Bottas
Hamilton felt certain that debris was to blame for the tyre failure, most likely coming from the Alfa Romeo of Kimi Raikkonen. He span his auto and sent gravel spraying, bringing the session to a brief halt after Bottas had set the quickest time.

First-week Folklore sales place the release at the top of the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, giving Swift her seventh career No. 1 album and the biggest album debut of the year thus far.

According to Billboard, folklore's units are made up of 615,000 album sales, 218,000 streaming equivalent albums (racking up 289.85 million streams total) and 13,000 track equivalent albums. Juice WRLD's posthumous album "Legends Never Die" now holds that record, with around 500,000 units sold in the one-week period. Swift also holds the record for the female artist with the most albums debuting above 500,000 sales in the US, with all but her first album surpassing the mark.

"Folklore" was only released digitally, but will be available as a CD on August 7. Legends "Never Die" dropped to #3. "Fearless" (2008) sold 592,000 copies while "Speak Now" (2010) sold 1.047 million.

Folklore's record-breaking first week was achieved on the basis of streams and downloads alone.

Only Rihanna (7), Delta Goodrem (9), P!nk (9), Kylie Minogue (10) and Madonna (10) have more #1 singles than Swift, and she is the only artist on that list to have five #1 singles in the last decade.
