Netflix space series 'Away' gets a full trailer

Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming drama series Away, debuting Friday, Sept. 4 on the streamer and starring Oscar victor Hilary Swank as American astronaut Emma Green, who's the commander of NASA's first mission to Mars. The new trailer was accompanied by a poster for the series which is set to land on Netflix on September 4, 2020. Netflix released a trailer for the new TV series on Monday, and it's clear that Swank's astronaut is meant to make audiences cry.

Swank stars as American astronaut Emma Green, whose lifelong dream has been to be on the first mission to Mars.

In a launch, Netflix described Away as "an exciting, emotional drama on an epic scale that celebrates the unbelievable developments people can obtain and the private sacrifices they have to make alongside the best way".

Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming space drama, Away. Emma and her global team of astronauts have to cope with the sacrifices they've all made for the historic mission.

Away shows that sometimes to reach for the stars, we must leave home behind.

Because the crew's journey into area intensifies, their private dynamics and the results of being away from their family members again on Earth develop into more and more advanced. As the trailer continues on, we're introduced to the rest of Emma's crew, all of whom are struggling with being away.

Joining Swank, Bateman and Charles in the cast as series regulars are Ray Panthaki, Ato Essandoh, Mark Ivanir, Vivian Wu.
