Prosser, who sometimes correctly predicts Apple's plans, did not say if iPhone 12 event will be an in-person launch event or another "Apple live stream" video event. But that's not all, he even has the dates on the pre-orders and shipping week which is 12th and 19th of October respectively, as well as claiming the iPhone 12 Pro devices to come at a later date in November.

That's at minimum our assessment of the world's collective response if in some cases-suitable Apple leaker, Jon Prosser, has nailed the timeline. The next Apple Watch and iPad are said to still arrive in September though.

However, Prosser also suggests that Apple's upcoming hardware launches will commence on September 7.

Prosser's tweets jibe with a DigiTimes report from last week, that said sources from within Apple's supply chain indicated that the tech giant could launch two 6.1-inch models in a first phase and 6.7- and 5.4-inch devices in a second.

Among several other launches that Apple is reportedly planning this year include new iMac, AirPods Studio, HomePod 2 and HomePod Mini. We will be interested to see how Apple hosts the launch event.

It was recently hinted by both Apple and Qualcomm that there will be a delay of a few weeks in the release of the iPhone 12 series. But still, we recommend processing this information with a pinch of salt.

We anticipate Apple to reveal approximately 4 iPhone 12 gadgets - an iPhone 12 Pro and a Pro Max along with an iPhone 12 and a 12 Max. "As you know, previous year we started selling iPhones in late September".

As mentioned above, the Apple Watch Series 6 and the iPad are said to launch before the iPhones do which will definitely make this year an outlier as new Apple Watches have usually been announced at the iPhone event.

But this isn't the initially time in current history that Apple's most up-to-date and biggest Apple iphone has slipped into November.
