Though we might question whether the world was truly waiting for a remake of classic Steve Guttenberg/Ted Danson/Tom Selleck child-care comedy Three Men And a Baby, least of all one starring Zac Efron, that's exactly what Disney has in the works.

The 1987 comedy was directed by Leonard Nimoy and starred Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson as NY bachelors who find themselves caring, and subsequently falling for, an infant.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "The remake is intended for Disney+ with Disney's live-action division running point".

Both movies are now on Disney+ which is also behind this remake.

Released in 1987, Leonard Nimoy directed the touching comedy (yup, random), which follows three bachelors who find themselves forced into pseudo-fatherhood when an infant is left at their NY apartment.

Will Reichel wrote the screenplay for the upcoming remake starring Efron and a search for a director is now underway.

Andrews cautioned that cases could again rise. "That's what's terribly, terribly challenging". Sixteen of the new deaths were connected to aged care outbreaks.

The late Star Trek star Leonard Nimoy directed the original and it became a box office hit which spawned the 1990 sequel Three Men and a Little Lady. With Zac Efron set to headline, we reckon this actually might work.

Efron first rose to fame when he starred in Disney's High School Musical in 2006.

Gordon Gray ('The Rookie", "The Way Back') is producing.

Actor Zac Efron is returning to Disney.

It is now unknown who Zac is set to portray in Disney+'s remake of Three Men and a Baby, and the rest of the cast is yet to be announced.
