Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Paulinho from Braga in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. Our target is to go to every match, thinking and feeling that we go to that match to win.

"So, for me I would say it is a very important season for Tottenham, and I want to be important in that season by helping to reach important things".

Mourinho continued: "I didn't like my team - I believe until their goal the game was there".

Mourinho's first pre-season at Tottenham has been relatively quiet on the transfer front with full back Matt Doherty signing from Wolverhampton Wanderers and midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg arriving from Southampton.

Tottenham, under Mauricio Pochettino and now Mourinho, have often set up to play with a sole striker with the likes of Son Heung-min, who bagged 11 league goals last season, in support.

"We realise that more than ever we need that".

Percy (74) was done when he went double bogey, double bogey, bogey over a three-hole stretch on the front nine. Overnight leader Sam Burns struggled to a one-over par 72 that left him a stroke off the lead on 201.

"I could see some improvements, especially in the way our manager wants us to play".

Lloris said: "The only thing we can hope is to not be worse". "But I want to make it very, very clear that the club - the structure above me - knows that I need a striker and also wants a striker".

"The other day Jurgen Klopp said Liverpool is not a club of oligarchs or belonging to countries", he said.

Mourinho left Rose of the squad for a game at Watford and the England left-back told him he would stay at home if he was not wanted.

'So it's very hard for Danny to stay with us this season.

Whether Belotti would be willing to move to Spurs where he would be likely to play second fiddle to Kane is another matter, and Mourinho insists that he is not after a player who is "afraid of competition". "Until their goal, in spite of they had good control of the ball, they didn't create apart from one bad pass from Ben Davies that nearly gave a chance to Richarlison".
