Chris Evans has the ideal response to leaked photo

Chris Evans broke his silence on THAT private photo, which he accidentally shared on his own Instagram account over the weekend, when he took to Twitter with a very important message on September 14.

Here's what we can state: Over the weekend, Chris Evans appeared to inadvertently leakage a not appropriate for work image on his validated Instagram account.

"Something happened this weekend?" the 39-year-old joked when asked about the mistake. He deemed his fandom "fantastic" and expressed his gratitude towards the support they gave him through the incident.

Although the actor quickly took the video down, many were able to screengrab the photo. "VOTE Nov 3rd!" Evans tweeted, adding the face-palm and shrug emojis.

Evans has yet to address the Instagram snafu, but his younger brother Scott more or less summed it up with a bout of feigned ignorance, tweeting: "Was off social media for the day..."
