After filing for divorce, Kelly anticipates her new project will showcase all the emotions she experienced during (and after) her marriage to Brandon Blackstock. But now, after an interview on Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist, it seems as though she's gone the other way with her decision, and is opening up... even just a little bit!

However, that doesn't mean Clarkson hasn't been using the failed romance for songwriting inspiration - and fans will probably just have to read between the lines whenever she releases her next album, which she has already teased as her "most personal" yet.

Kelly Clarkson is getting candid about her life amid divorce from Brandon Blackstock after nearly seven years of marriage. "I've never written about my life to where my kids are singing along".

But it sounds as if Clarkson and Blackstock will be doing their best to keep things quiet, and so far, they agree on custody of their 5-year-old daughter, River Rose, and 4-year-old son, Remington.

"I've been talking to friends that have been through a divorce", continued the 38-year-old "American Idol" alum. "Because it is the worst thing ever for everyone involved".

Kelly Clarkson is keeping it honest about her divorce.

Facebook introduces 'Watch Together' feature on Messenger
What's more, you can also choose from a category such as "TV & Movies, ' "Watched" 'or 'Uploaded" to select your favorite video. Nora Micheva, Product Manager introduced the Watch Together feature.

Clarkson explained that writing about these aspects of her life in her music has brought along new experiences-like her kids jamming out to songs about her divorce.

'It definitely wouldn't be planned'. But she expects the situation to make its way into the album she's working on right now. She explained, "This next record will probably be the most personal one I've ever released". Clarkson met her music manager, Brandon Blackstock, and soon-to-be-ex backstage at a rehearsal for the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2006.

"It's just like people dealing with the pandemic", she continues. "It's almost impossible to enjoy each other, especially with the children needing constant attention".

"I will be completely honest, and I have been since the beginning: I did not want this job", the American Idol victor turned Grammy-winning superstar said. On June 13, the UK's Daily Mail published the first pictures of Clarkson in public since the news of their split, showing her walking her dog in her neighborhood in Los Angeles.

"I am a very open person", she expressed in an interview with the Los Angeles Times.
