The Foreign Ministers of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have arrived in Washington to attend a signing ceremony of peace treaties with Israel.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Ishtayeh has said the government will present a recommendation to President Mahmoud Abbas to reconsider relations with the Arab League.

"Any normalization step that is being taken by any Arab country is considered a breach of the Arab consensus, and the Palestinian people's struggle", he included.

US President Donald Trump and senior American administration officials will preside over the ceremonies.

"The Arab League has become a symbol of the Arab inaction", Ishtayeh said during his weekly cabinet meeting.

Stipulating the full normalisation of relations between UAE-Israel, the Abraham Accord will make the UAE the third Arab state ever to recognize Israel, following Egypt (1979) and Jordan (1994).

The defence ministers of Bahrain and Israel held their first publicly acknowledged phone call on Monday since their countries agreed to normalise ties.

"Tuesday will be a black day in the history of the Arab nations and a defeat of the Arab League institution", Ishtayeh said.

The normalisation deals have drawn widespread condemnation from Palestinians, who say that such agreements do not serve the Palestinian cause and ignore their rights. The Gulf monarchies and Israel jointly lobbied against the 2015 Iran nuclear deal and both decry Tehran's support of Shi'a militias throughout the Middle East - sharing a similar threat assessment regarding the Islamist political movements that Turkey has come to vigorously support during and after the Arab Spring.
