Today, following the PS5 games showcase where titles like a God of War sequel were shown off PlayStation Blog confirmed some truly surprising news. The PlayStation team also clarifies that "the PS4 digital versions of launch games include a free upgrade on both PS5 consoles, while the PS4 disc versions of these games include a free upgrade on the PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive". Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy A Big Adventure, and Horizon Forbidden West will also launch on PS4. Previously, Sony had stated that these titles would only be coming to PS5. This includes a voucher code for Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered, which collects Spider-Man PS4 and The City That Never Sleeps DLC with improved graphics. We'll be supporting near-instant loading, 3D audio, and the DualSense controller's haptic feedback. Gamers who pick up this version will also have access to three new suits, new photo mode features, and new trophies. According to said report, the Miles Morales content would be bundled in with a remaster of Marvel's Spider-Man. "When we started crafting it we realized that, with a little bit more of a compact storytelling style, we could tell a very emotionally impactful story that would fit really well as an experience that would take Spider-Man 1 and [Miles Morales] and do justice to this character". We have big plans for the Marvel's Spider-Man universe with our partners at PlayStation and Marvel, and we can not wait for you to experience the next adventure with Miles.
