I think that we've got a good handle of it. I don't know the percentage.

"Not all of our players but most of our players have caught it", Orgeron said. It's not clear exactly how many players on the roster have had COVID-19, as most SEC schools have avoided reporting those numbers publicly.

Orgeron told reporters Tuesday "about three or four guys" on the team now have COVID-19, but there are not "a lot of guys in quarantine" on the team.

"You have to make adjustments", he said.

The coach noted the official guidelines state that players who test positive for the coronavirus do not have to get tested for 90 days after they first present symptoms.

The number of job vacancies continued to recover into August, too", said Darren Morgan, director of economic statistics at ONS. The claimant count reached 2.7 million in August 2020, an increase of 120.8% since March 2020.

Orgeron also reported that reserve DL Nelson Jenkins has opted out and is not with the football team, adding that it's been at least two weeks since coach and player have spoken. He added he has heard "rumblings" of a possible return by fellow defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin, who opted out to reportedly prepare for the 2021 NFL Draft.

The university overall has had 754 positive COVID-19 cases in the last month and 50 positives from September 11 to September 13, according to the report.

"We'd take him back and we want him back", Orgeron said.

"Were probably better off than we've been all camp right now going into the season, obviously we have to be really careful", Orgeron said. "If not, like any member of our family, we'll take him back".

Unclear how many active cases there are in the program right now - or if the virus will affect the team's next matchup against Mississippi State on September 26.
