South Florida won't play its upcoming game against Florida Atlantic after playing Notre Dame on Saturday.

Wake Forest will bring Campbell to town a week early, while its game against Notre Dame is moving to the end of the football schedule.

The Notre Dame and Campbell football games against Wake Forest have been rescheduled, the ACC announced on Wednesday. USF played Notre Dame on Saturday and wants to make sure it doesn't have an outbreak on its own team, so practice is off at least until results of testing done this morning are returned.

The announcement comes just hours after USF called off on-field activities amid reports that some Notre Dame players tested positive for COVID-19. Four had tested positive while six others were in quarantine.

"We managed an increase in positivity rates in August, and the players handled it wonderfully", Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said.

Dr. Fox says all seven players who tested positive Monday, tested negative this past Friday.

Game 5: Lightning fall to Islanders in 2OT
The Tampa Bay Lightning look to clinch the Eastern Conference finals over the New York Islanders in game six. Hedman joins American Brian Leetch as the first defenceman to score eight goals in a single playoff.

"We knew COVID would present challenges throughout the season, and we'll always put student-athlete health and safety at the forefront of our decision making".

The Fighting Irish are playing football as a member of a conference for the first time this season. That postponed this weekend's game, and it's been moved to December 12 - the last available date for ACC teams to play regular-season games.

Also Tuesday, No. 18 BYU announced that its next two games will be played without fans at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah.

The move means the Demon Deacons will dodge a three-week break between games, instead giving Wake Forest off weeks this weekend and on the weekend of October 10.

BYU had to postpone its game last week at Army after having players test positive for COVID-19.
