‘David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet’ Trailer

David Attenborough is the younger brother of the late Richard Attenborough, who you probably would recognize from "Jurassic Park" and the remake of "Miracle on 34th Street".

There's perhaps no one on earth better suited to give such a witness statement than Sir David Attenborough, a man who has spent a lifetime exploring the extreme natural wonders of the planet, and who has perhaps seen more of the natural world than any other human alive today.

World-famous footballer David Beckham also welcomed Sir David to the platform in his Instagram story where he shared a picture of them together, calling him "one of the most inspiring people I have ever met".

He appears in the one minute and 13 second IGTV video, but is not personally running the account.

Netflix is giving a glimpse of the new film David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet.

'Continents are on fire, glaciers are melting, coral reefs are dying, fish are disappearing from our oceans, the list goes on and on.

"But we know what to do about it so that's why I'm tackling this new way - for me - of communication".

David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet drops on Netflix on 4 October. We know what to do, we just need the will. "As we rebuild from the pandemic, Sir David's reflections and messages of hope feel particularly timely and relevant".

Climate change is a serious issue, and we are fast approaching a point of no return.

He will be using his account to share messages to explain the current problems facing life on our planet, and the solutions to help us deal with them.

David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet will launch globally on Netflix October 4, 2020.
