It won't be easy, especially given that the latest reports suggest that West Ham wouldn't be willing to let him go, even if they received a 90 million euro offer.

West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice will request for a move to Chelsea if an offer arrives before the end of the current transfer window.

The youngster started out his career in the Chelsea youth ranks before moving to West Ham six years ago but it appears Rice is keen on moving back to his old club as he looks to join a club capable of competing for major honours.

Rudiger's last appearance for the Blues came in the FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal in early August, when he was partly culpable for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's victor in a 2-1 defeat.

Four states report record number of new COVID-19 cases
Of the cases reported today, 23 are in Galway, the same amount as in Donegal, and behind Dublin (212), and Cork (54). On Saturday, Wisconsin set a new record for a single-day increase in positive COVID-19 cases, with 2,817 new cases.

The signing of Germany worldwide Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen has seen Barkley pushed down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and he could become available before the end of the window.

The Senegalese goalkeeper could make his first appearance with the club at the weekend as Chelsea travel to the Midlands to take on Premier League newcomers West Bromwich Albion.

The report in The Daily Mail has claimed that Southampton are also looking at the England global on a loan deal, but his wages would be an issue, and that the Saints would want Chelsea to subsidise part of his salary.

Furthermore, David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his defence after their poor start to the season, losing their opening two matches against Newcastle and Arsenal.
