The leak has been localised to one section of a service module and the crew, made up of US astronaut Chris Cassidy and Russian cosmonauts Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner, plan to eliminate it in the coming days, Russia's RIA news agency quoted Roscosmos executive director Sergei Krikalev as saying.

NASA announced four astronauts will launch to the International Space Station aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket during the early hours of Halloween Day. The journey will be a 248 mile one. SpaceX is set to launch three NASA astronauts and one astronaut from Japan's space agency on October 31 at 2:40 a.m.

The mission, which is called Cygnus NG-14, will deliver 7,624 lbs (3,458 kilograms) of cargo on what will be the Cygnus spacecraft's 13th mission to the International Space Station, and 14th flight overall.

NASA leaders on Tuesday expressed confidence in the company, founded by Elon Musk in 2002, which also flies cargo and supplies to the station.

But she'll make time to vote, too.

Finally, SpaceX and NASA are working with the Coast Guard to create a 10-mile "keep-out zone" around the spacecraft once its splashes down in the Atlantic Ocean or Gulf of Mexico. "It's a very busy October for us", Lueders said.

'Unfortunate, exaggerated': Govt on Amnesty International's 'witch-hunt' claims
In 2016, they charged the group with sedition, for holding an event in the southern city of Bengaluru, related to Kashmir. Indian authorities did not immediately confirm whether Amnesty India's bank accounts had been frozen.

In order to cast a space ballot, an astronaut whose time in orbit is likely to coincide with an election has to apply for a federal post card application several months before November.

Another factor in the announcement in the delay was to provide more time to track down an air leak on the station.

Whilst the astronauts and cosmonauts were unable to find its exact location, a ground analysis of the testing data was able to isolate the Russian-built Zvezda Service Module as the site of the leak. It also should not affect the Crew-1 mission, he added.

Estée Lauder is the first beauty brand to launch into space with NASA, it said in its release. "This is not necessarily a near-term problem, as long as the leak rate stays at where it's at today".

The special "space loo" will be sent to the International Space Station next week by NASA for astronauts to test out in microgravity.

"I think all of us can agree that 2020 has certainly been a challenging year", Hopkins said.
