Ahead of the USA vice presidential debate between Mike Pence and Kamala Harris this past week, the Trump campaign pulled a trolling move against the Democratic candidate by reserving a seat for 2Pac. Mopreme went on to say that he doesn't expect an apology from POTUS, but would like him to make it up to his family by releasing his father, who is 2Pac's stepfather, from prison. Mopreme isn't surprised by Trump, "We should know Trump's lack of respect for the Black and brown community".

Mopreme Shakur, Tupac's stepbrother, informed TMZ that the invitation by the Trump marketing campaign was "clearly disrespectful" to the late rapper's family members.

He also said that he's fully aware that Trump won't apologize for it. Mutulu was sentenced to 60 years behind bars in 1988 for a number of charges, including armed bank robbery and bank robbery killings. In fact, he considers the fact that she named 'Pac as the best alive a testament to her good taste and loyalty to her hometown of Oakland, CA. Harris responded, "Tupac", prompting Rye to say, "He's not alive!" "You say he lives on?'"
