USA tennis player Sam Querrey was placed in isolation by Russian authorities after testing positive for the coronavirus but left the country on a private plane, organizers of the St. Petersburg Open said Thursday.

At that point, supposedly out of fear of the hospital stay and being separated from their infant son in a foreign country, Querrey reportedly arranged for a private jet to secretly take his family across the Russian border.

Had Querrey and his family been left to quarantine in the player hotel, then that might have been the end of it.

"No kidding but I would do the same with a wife and 8 month old baby".

Commentator Jose Morgado responded to Rothenberg's menace with wide-eyes emojis, tennis author Nikhila Makker tweeted "huge yikes" and journalist Carole Bouchard wrote: "Sam Querrey did what!?"

Justin Bieber drops somber new single 'Lonely' and emotional new music video
I think it expresses vulnerability and that is why I think this song is very powerful, "Bieber wrote through his Twitter account". The 14-year-old actor played the 16-year-old version of Justin from his My World Tour in 2010-11 in the "Lonely" music video .

Rospotrebnadzor then recommended the Querreys move from the hotel to a private apartment "so that the family would not feel inconvenience and would not pose a threat of infection".

They may include a fine of up to $100,000 or a suspension of up to three years. The world No.49 was also meant to face Canadian star Denis Shapovalov in the singles opening round, to no avail. The organising committee of the tournament had prepared premium apartments for this objective. The test was rescheduled for October 13th but Querrey again did not open his door, according to the tournament. However, instead of acting in accordance with ATP rules and tournament sanitary protocol, Sam Querrey, as recorded by hotel surveillance cameras, at 5.45am on October 13, along with his family without notifying reception, left the hotel.

"The ATP representative passed this information to the tournament management after doctors made a repeat abortive attempt to examine the family", it said.

"The tournament organizing committee has done it all to ensure the safety of all the players". - Showing mild symptoms and not wanting to be moved to a hospital for two weeks, Querrey and his family fled Russian Federation on a private jet early one morning prior to a visit from a doctor. "It is the power of the ATP to evaluate and assess the actions of the player Sam Querrey". Unknown. Rothenberg reports they landed in "a nearby European country" that does not require a negative test for entry, and are now winding down in an Airbnb.

In an email to players and members, the ATP said: 'The ATP is aware of an incident regarding a player's serious breach of protocol relating to COVID-19 at this week's St. Petersburg Open.
