The premiere composition is called "Let Me Love You Like A Woman" and was created with the help of Jacek Antonoff, the artist's permanent collaborator.

Del Rey announced that a follow-up for Norman Fucking Rockwell! was in the works late previous year, not too long after releasing the Grammy nominated LP. She also mentions "coming from a small town" and as such "is ready to leave LA and wants you to come", of course.

In addition to the new album, she recently celebrated the arrival of her poetry book, Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass.

What brought on Del Rey's change of mind?

The new single is the first song off of Lana's upcoming seventh studio album Chemtrails Over the Country Club.

"Let me be who I'm meant to be", she sings. Her new sound shouldn't come as too much of a surprise.

"I've been really stressed about this album", Del Rey explains to Interview Magazine.

The song's black-and-white, vintage-looking music video features several selfie videos of a makeup-less Del Rey singing along to the track, clips from her last tour, including her performance of "Diamonds & Rust" with Joan Baez in Berkeley, and a video of herself in a plaid shirt riding on a convertible vehicle.
