Taco Bell is running its "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion through the World Series, and Betts's first stolen base earned all the chance to get a free Doritos Locos Taco. It's no coincidence that the Dodgers' best inning was in the fifth, when Betts stole those two bases.

The Taco Bell promotion is called "Steal a Base Steal a Taco". Color commentator John Smoltz briefly brought tacos up again: "Two tacos?" He did the same thing during the 2018 World Series - ironically, when he was playing against the Dodgers, and then his team at the time, the Red Sox, went on to win the title. The first was Ruth, in 1921.

The stolen base means free Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos for everyone in America.

On Tuesday, Los Angeles Dodgers' Mookie Betts stole a base, winning free tacos for Taco Bell customers across the US. In addition to the stolen base, Betts also hit a home run in the sixth inning. Also, it is only one taco per person. Taco Bell announced the official date soon after Betts stole the bag. Taco Bell locations will be giving away one Doritos Locos Taco per customer from noon until midnight local time, or as supplies last.

The free tacos will be available in restaurants across the country on October 28.
