Fan-favourite film franchise "Fast & Furious" to conclude after the 11th instalment.

Justin Lin, who directed The Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, and Fast & Furious 6 and then returned after missing Furious 7 and The Fate of the Furious to direct F9 is "in talks" to direct both of these final films.

The franchise has spanned over 20 years and is Universal's highest-grossing movie series in its history, Deadline reported.

According to Deadline, the final two films are likely to tell "a big story" that will reunite all the series' core cast members. Although this does not necessarily mean that this universe is going to disappear: although the story of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family, thieves who are at times amateur heroes in the driving of race cars, comes to an end, they continue its course the spin-offs based on some of its characters, by Universal.

Epsilon now a category 2 hurricane, Bermuda braced for bad weather
Wednesday, Hurricane Epsilon was spinning about 405 miles east-southeast of Bermuda and moving west-northwest at a pace of 12 mph. According to the National Hurricane Centre, Tropical storm conditions are possible there by Thursday.

For fans of the "F&F" franchise, the news may come as a shocker. The seventh film pulled in over a billion box office dollars thanks to its widespread global appeal and diverse cast of stars including Diesel, Johnson, and Statham as well as Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster and Lucas Black. F9 will add John Cena and Hobbs & Shaw's Helen Mirren (yes, really) to its cast and feature cameos from Cardi B and Ozuna.

Originally, the tenth movie was supposed to be released by 2021 but due to the delay, we can expect the franchise to go on for at least four more years.

Meanwhile, Fast and Furious 9 brings Jon Cena into the mix as Dom's estranged brother Jakob Toretto who is now seemingly working for Charlize Theron's Cipher. The storyline of the upcoming film will revolve around the final two vehicles together.

A spin-off film past year titled Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw grossed more than US$759 million worldwide, proving the film's popularity with audiences.
