Pronounced "twenty-three eleven", the team name combines Jordan's legendary jersey number with the auto number Hamlin has used throughout his career.

National Basketball Association legend Michael Jordan and three-time Daytona 500 victor Denny Hamlin announced today that their newly-formed NASCAR Cup Series team will be named 23XI Racing-pronounced twenty-three eleven-and that the single-car team will field the No. 23 auto number for driver Bubba Wallace next season.

NASCAR racer Bubba Wallace will be sporting a new number and vehicle while racing with a new team in 2021. On Thursday, the team revealed its identity: 23XI Racing, which will field the #23 vehicle.

When the FBI made further investigations, they discovered thousands of videos and images that displayed child pornography. According to court documents, Treisman's attorney noted he has been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome.

The 23 pays tribute to Jordan's former National Basketball Association jersey number while the 11 is a reference to the No. 11 vehicle that Hamlin drove for the past 14 seasons. Wallace reacted to the announcement saying "So ready".

Hamlin and Jordan - who announced they would be teaming up last month to create a new NASCAR Cup Series team - landed on the team name 23XI Racing, pronounced twenty-three eleven, as a reference to both athletes. The norm doesn't fit for us. 23 was Jordan's primary number in the National Basketball Association, and 11 is the number of the Toyota driven by Hamlin in the Cup Series. This year he successfully campaigned NASCAR to ban the flying of the Confederate flag at its races.

Wallace will make his debut with 23XI racing at the Daytona 500 in February 2021.
