Bikers Rode From Various Lebanese Areas To Support Breast Cancer Patients

In line with its ongoing commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees and host communities, DHL Express UAE launched a local campaign coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness month, to raise awareness amongst its staff, customers and the general public, about the disease and the importance of being aware and staying alert for early detection and prevention.

It consists of women who are breast cancer survivors themselves, reaching out to underprivileged breast cancer sufferers.

The awareness-raising event concluded with a fundraiser held at Zahret Al-Laymoun restaurant to help two patients with advanced breast cancer and support a medical center in Sidon, South Lebanon. The webinar will feature health professional, Andrew Sokolov, MS, RN, director for care management services at Preferred Global Health.

Boddicker and his team found women over the age of 65 who developed breast cancer were more likely than their peers to have genetic variants putting them at an increased lifetime cancer risk.
