The first trailer for Stardust dropped on Wednesday and shows how Emma. star Johnny Flynn transformed into the rocker in his early days.

The film, starring singer and actor Johnny Flynn in the lead role, tracks Bowie as he sets out on a tour of the U.S. and creates his alter-ego, Ziggy Stardust.

There's also the whole palaver of the family of David Bowie not allowing the film to use any of his music.

"Johnny could really connect emotionally with that experience of setting out on your career as a musician and playing to those half empty rooms".

He said he was keen for Flynn not to try to mimic Bowie.

"It was more about creating a feeling rather than an impression of David".

Cyberpunk 2077 Postponed Again, Fans Angry At Its Delay
In October a year ago , CD Projekt RED announced that they will deliver the game on November 19 , without making further delays . They admitted that even though the game has received "gold certification", i.e., it was complete, it still wasn't flawless .

"So the amusing thing about this is that exploring a lesser known chapter in his life, that first real fame".

The film was directed by David on his first US tour as "not really commercial".

"I think we can make it work". In 1971, David Bowie, aged 24, embarks on his first trip to America with Mercury Records publicist Ron Oberman, and is faced with a world that is not yet ready for him.

Unlike other recent musical biopics, "Stardust" leaves the famous songs on the sidelines.

A number of blockbusters including James Bond film No Time To Die and Marvel superhero movie Black Widow have had their release dates pushed back.

"It's a very interesting time to bring out a film for all the obvious reasons - socially distant cinemas and so on", Gabriel continued.
