Deontay Wilder Responds To Tyson Fury's Offer To Help Him

Joshua, 31, is scheduled to face IBF mandatory contender Kubrat Pulev 28-1 (14) at the O2 Arena in London on December 12 before a mooted two-fight series with Fury in 2021.

Before plans were put in place for Fury's United Kingdom homecoming against Kabayel, the Englishman had been expected to face Deontay Wilder in a trilogy fight after he won the WBC heavyweight title from the American in Las Vegas with a dramatic seventh-round stoppage.

Despite this, it seems Kabayel has not agreed to fight Fury.

The unbeaten two-time heavyweight champion of the world, whose last fight saw him sensationally stop Wilder in the seventh round of their rematch in February this year, had been expected to fight unbeaten German Agit Kabayel (20-0, 13KOs) in a homecoming clash at the Royal Albert Hall next month.

"Only those that have supported me 100% since my comeback will be with me for the glory", the boxer added.

"When you were going through your darkest time, I told you that if you got yourself together I would give you a title shot", the Alabaman wrote on Twitter.

Canelo returns in December Mexican superstar to take on British fighter Smith in USA

Joshua regained the titles in a rematch later that year, and will defend them against Kubrat Pulev on December 12 while Fury still hopes to face an opponent to be confirmed before Christmas, with promoter Frank Warren giving up on the Wilder trilogy ever being finalised.

Fury drew with Wilder when they first met but overcame the American when they fought for a second time in February, and it has been previously reported that the heavyweights were contracted for a third and final fight to complete the trilogy. I can't even remember his name, the Italian bloke?

Fury said of Joshua: "Very class. Listen, we're rivals and we have been for a long time but I've gotta speak truthfully and honestly".

Asked if the Joshua vs Fury schedule could become more complicated, Hearn said: "If the legal action rumbles on, because ultimately after that fight with Pulev, we want to be in a position to say "This is the fight for the undisputed".

"That's just going to be another issue that we're going to have to deal with".

"Now he's doing it again [with Pulev], and that's why when you talk about Usyk, he will fight Usyk no problems at all, but he wants to fight Tyson Fury. That's the job of the arbitrators and the mediators, and good luck to them".
