Klay Thompson Suffers New Injury; Warriors May Look For New Guard

It's unclear whether or not the Warriors fear Thompson's injury is a major one.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports this injury involves his lower right leg and notes Thompson will undergo testing within the next few days.

The rehabilitation process for an Achilles tear could easily take Thompson through the 2020-21 season meaning that we may not see him in action until the 2021-2022 campaign. He reportedly needed assistance walking out of the gym.

Hence, Thompson could find himself sitting yet another entire National Basketball Association season at the least of the injury proves serious.
