Apple received public outcry earlier this fall when it gained rights to the Peanuts holiday specials, starting with the airing of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" exclusively on Apple TV+. "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" will air at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, on PBS (OPB for OR viewers) and PBS KIDS.

This time around, the Charlie Brown and Peanuts fans have won this battle. The lovable loser, the Peanuts gang and their iconic holiday specials will be back - albeit briefly - on broadcast television this year after all.

The Peanuts gang will also deck the halls with the premiere of "A Charlie Brown Christmas", streaming exclusively on Apple TV+ on December 4.
