Amazon revealed that in a survey that 75 percent of USA respondents said they pause their show or movie at least once per night, so being able to easily pause your TV through Alexa routines could come in handy for a lot of people. So what gives with the $100 price bump? On the Routine setup page in the Alexa app, customers can check which Amazon Fire TV device control actions are available.

For starters, the Echo Frames will now automatically adjust volume based on your environment. If you're unfamiliar with Alexa routines, they're essentially shortcuts for Alexa. Alternatively, a full battery will deliver four hours of continuous audio playback or 3.5 hours of continuous talk time at 80 percent volume.

The 3rd generation Amazon Echo Dot improves on the disc-shaped design the Echo Dot has sported for years, boasting an upgraded fabric design and beefed-up sound.

As of writing, 58 people from the community - including 24 scouts - have gained successful employment from the organization. The trust said the three white giraffes were "an enormous source of pride in the Ishaqbini community".

The new second-generation Echo Frames will retail for $249.99 and will begin shipping out to customers on December 10. Finally, the first Frames were only available in black, but today's update adds tortoise and blue options as well. Depending on your vision insurance, you can also apply to get out-of-network reimbursement with VSP Vision Care, EyeMed, and Cigna.

Although the Echo Frames are launching to the public, Amazon said it is sunsetting its Echo Loop device. "With Echo Frames generally available, we have also decided that Echo Loop will not advance beyond the Day 1 Editions program, with production and sales ending".

Alexa routines have been a key part of the assistant's core functionality for a while, and it's nice to see support continue to land on other devices.
