Clippers keep Marcus Morris with 4-year deal

Morris immediately slotted in as the Clippers' starting power forward and averaged 10.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game in 19 regular-season games.

It looks as if Harrell will replace center Dwight Howard, who reportedly agreed to sign with the 76ers shortly after deleting a tweet in which he announced he was staying in LA.

Harrell won the 6MOY award as a member of the LA Clippers on a team headed by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. After averaging just 3.6 points per game in 2015-16, Harrell averaged 9.1 points per game for the Rockets in 2016-17.

Harrell's agent, Rich Paul, has connections with the Lakers. According to the people, Harrell turned down a larger offer from the Charlotte Hornets to play with James and the Lakers.

This deal gives the Lakers yet another scorer to go with LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the newly acquired Dennis Schroder.

Harrell is coming off a fantastic season with the Clippers.
