In the other group, called London 2020, they have also been watching the match between Medvedev and Djokovic.

Djokovic pulled out some big serves in the important moments in an empty O2 Arena to reach the semifinals for the ninth time, notably in the tiebreaker when he recovered from a 2-0 deficit.

London's farewell edition of the ATP Finals could still have its dream climax after World No.1 Novak Djokovic easily beat Alexander Zverev 6-3, 7-6 (4) to seal a last-four spot on Friday. I was sad to hear that he's going through something like this.

Djokovic handed Zverev a break point in the fourth game of the second set after double-faulting but the German could not capitalise. "This match here", said Zverev.

"We don't know what happened truly. But I guess it wasn't developed and it wasn't there because we just did not have the cases like this", said Djokovic, who used to be president of the ATP's player council before he resigned earlier this year to form a breakaway association.

While I very much regret that these accusations are made, I have to stick to my initial thing of them being untrue and continue to deny them.

Azerbaijan Army Units Enter Region Formerly Held by Armenia
Before Tonoyan's dismissal was announced, an initial report by Armenian newspaper Aravot had said he had tendered his resignation. However, the status of Nagorno-Karabakh, an ethnically Armenian enclave inside Azerbaijan, remains unresolved.

"I have not heard that we had maybe top players involved in such instances".

"There is nothing more that I can do".

Nadal leads their career head-to-head series 3-0, including a stunning comeback from 5-1 down in the third set of their clash at last year's Nitto ATP Finals.

The top seed's victory means the world's top four players make up the last four, with Daniil Medvedev already through as group victor ahead of his clash with Diego Schwartzman on Friday evening.

Initially, the ATP Finals organization initially scheduled the match at 3:00 p.m., a match that will broadcast #Vamos, but he must confirm the time this Friday: today Medvedev plays against Schwartzman (first classified against eliminated) at 21:00, so the Russian would have, despite winning his group, only 16 hours of rest for the momentous duel.

Medvedev hit 31 winners against Schwartzman and broke the Argentine three times. I'm looking forward to playing but in the last few days the focus has shifted to the off court (stuff). "In the tiebreaker, again I served well when I needed to close out the match".
