The 31-year-old was traded to the Raptors back in February 2017 from the Orlando Magic in exchange for Terrence Ross and a first-round draft choice.

The Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, and Detroit Pistons agreed on a draft-night trade, the teams announced. By dealing him away, Pistons general manager Troy Weaver will get a third first-round pick in tonight's draft.

All three of those names are players who do their damage mostly from the perimeter.

Los Angeles will also send Rodney McGruder to the Pistons.

Luke Kennard joins a Clippers team trying to move on from last year's playoffs. Over 28 games, the 6-foot-6 lefty averaged career-highs in points (15.8), assists (4.1) and rebounds (3.5) as a starter for Detroit. McGruder, 29, averaged 3.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game as a depth option on the Clippers. That could prove useful for a team that had seen its war chest of draft assets depleted amid a series of trades during the past 16 months and could enable the Clippers to engage in further trade talks, whether now or leading up to the NBA's winter trade deadline. Previously mocked to the Sacramento Kings at No. 12 overall, Bey could represent very good value for the Pistons. The Nets are about to attempt a breakthrough with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, and Shamet gives them a solid shooter on a cheap contract.
